Hi and welcome.
Would you be Interested in contributing wacky ideas about exoplanets seismology to FreeOrion ?
@lienrag Sure. What kind of wacky aspects do you have in mind? That an exoquake may split the planet in half?
Recalling analyses of #moonquakes:
they are exceptional by 1) typically shaking longer (more scattering) and 2) more often being meteoroid impacts (thinner atmosphere).
You may get more inspiration here:
Quite impressive: a #sunquake can reach magnitudes >11—impossible on earth.
Actually we need good "fluff" (see https://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=107919#p107919 and https://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=107755#p107755 ) for new mechanisms in-game.
First thing I can think of concerning quakes is what the game calls "Planet specials" (https://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11295 ), so if you have ideas there don't hesitate !
There may be things here https://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10864&sid=7353ce35835b9cc41c19fcaa84340594 or here https://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11668&sid=f809f9c6ef2e11d32df1c57506a28dd4 (like buildings that can harness quake energy) also ?
